We are so happy to share our clients' maps with our readers every week, and it's great to know that our brides like seeing their maps too...here is a map from a 2008 wedding in Italy whose bride couldn't wait to see her map on A Lucky Orchid Wedding!
We used similar coloring on a New York map recently, but it's not a new effect as you can see from this older map. We love the cool, calm look that it gives, especially the shading into the sea.
This wedding took place at the gorgeous Castello di Montegridolfo, an ancient castle with a history that dates back to medieval times and a struggle between two families to maintain its ownership. Today the hotel makes for a beautiful wedding location with the Adriatric Sea just a short distance away!

Laura there actually are some typos in your map... Given that I live in Italy, I can give you the actual names if you want :)
Hi Rosanna,
Yes, please send us any information to laura@lhcalligraphy.com.
Thanks for looking out!

Hi Laura
I find this mapping a real excellent idea! It's both elegant and creative!I've never seen such a thing in Italy
I live northern of Venice, and there is quite a number of places to map over there, unless you've done it already!
I would invite you to visit my brand new blog so you discover a little of my region! It's not as good as yours, but is growing up little by little!
