Seattle Opera Gala

Last Thursday I spent the entire day calligraphing these paper circles for Seattle's Opera Gala, held at McCaw Hall in the emerald city. The gala was held to benefit the Seattle Opera’s education and outreach programs. I was approached by Kelley Moore and Whitney Speir of Brown Sugar Designs to get involved with the hand-lettering of these unique placecards. They are written in white copperplate script on "beet" colored circles available at Paper Source. It was an honor to be involved with such a terrific cause. For more, check out Kelley Moore's blog.
